..what are they really saying..in my own words..

okay..okay ..everyones expecting me to reprint nonsensical articles, blow up big on cheap and dirty  tabloids, dubious news and laughable rumours some here only know  of the Sapura debacle thats going on rite now woah!...from savvy  Dallas episodes, Chinta Agong Love Stories at least in prints  to  typical  neo malay sensationalism, the speculations , quite right, endless. But what is not written there seemed to be all the answers and statements this family is making.Sure , its about a foreign wifes hopes and aspirations , a fathers gift of love to his sons he forgot,a better accurate one is of middle stringers vile enough to ride this and make millions on this fight, lastly a look at forlorn  sadness  by the in laws wishing there was a better end to this family feud,a whip of joy by all defendants and plaintiffs in Sapura related cases saying i told you so,but what they are really saying, you are really nothing, dont waste your time more OF MINE  and dont push us. And how will it end..as a facebooker juz wrote on my wall..Allah is Wise n Fair....Salam.

Strategies..

Three main ones crop up in modern management. defensive, overtly offensive, covertly offensive. The choice depends on whether to fight, one is strong enough to fight, one is yet weak in defense even though he may be strong enough to fight and it is a situation with no option. Hence executives are expected to take responsibility to their organizations seriously and temper their natural aggression. At the same time, one is taught to take every advantage of opportunities and to be wary of threats so that one can be adept in the Art of War and make best of its situation.
In defensive warfare, rather than merely taking a passive acceptance of ones position in the face of stronger rivals, seek the offensive with the clear objective of protecting one's market share. Sometimes leading companies will also take a defensive stance to protect what they have got.Never assume we will never be attacked but to prepare against such.Defensive strategy is thus more proactive than reactive. The lesson is that one should be disciplined in seeking to consolidate one's strengths, such could involve chopping off products which are not doing well or replacing those which are about to enter the decline phase as depicted on the product life cycle. At the same time, one should monitor the competitors movement. Should we suffer a sudden price attack,be wary of the wait and see approach. If we have been well informed about our competitor, then we should know the extent of their financial capabilities and his archilees heels so we can launch a counter attack.
In overt offensive, ie open war fare where one publicly muscles and launch into a straight for the throat attack against the competitor,it serve no purpose to be destructive. This is because there is no point in taking control of a company whose management and staff are demoralized, whose financial resources are exhausted and image and credibility ruined.
And when taking over the company bid for,do not waste the human resource. Be well informed about the company that is being taken over so that we know the capability of each key manager in the company and retain the capable ones who should be assured of employment and fair treatment.
Offensive warfare is mainly based on superiority in numbers whereby one's forces should be concentrated. This means not fighting on too wide a territory with too broad a range of products to avoid over spreading resources. In keeping your forces concentrated, avoid taking more than one competitor at a time. While concentrating your force, remember to keep something in reserve, and even if u hv a plenty of funds,do not spend it all at once.
While superiority innumbers tend to place the odds in larger companies favor because the larger firm has larger budget to advertise, hire the best or more staff,do not over rely on such as there can be weakness in strength.Larger companies take longer time to make decisions when compared with a smaller firm. A small company may thus be able to surprise a big company with a new product, sometimes one can also feed on the enemy ie joint ventures,by riding on their successes or publicity.
Using covert offensive strategy, requires one to keep as low profile as possible while making his offensive moves. In staying out of the limelight, his moves are virtually unknown to the world at karge..quietly,he shall attack his rivals strategy and prevents his alliance with other competitors. And when a competitor presents an opportunity,do not hesitate to seize it because if one is slow to react, there may never be a second window.Salam.

Corporate Politics

Office Politicking are facts of life and is a reality in any organizational compounds. Some principles to remember :
1) Realize office politics no laughing matter: this will ensure we will watch ourselves from stepping inadvertently into other peoples territory..
2)A fight may not be for the best: ask ourselves 3 Qs: What are our chances of Winning..If we win wat do we get...is what we get worth the fight..
3)Make Friends..this is where coalitions in the office have been found to be a useful mean of resolving conflicts contributing to team building and getting things done
4)Gathering Information..get to know what is going on around you so that in your prepared state.you are more alert and capable of dealing with awkward situations.
All of the above simply points to the principle of "breaking enemy's resistance without actually fighting."We should also wise to unfair tactics like scheming, corrupting, disgraced morals and behaviours,ir gambling women alcohol, drugs etc.
Bosses play an important role here because failing to lead and manage will cause other employees to be distressed, disobedient, those majority having lost respect for the management, inclined to leave and destroy the organization.
It is essential then for bosses to display the 5 virtues..wisdom,sincerity,benovolence,courage and strictness..under most fundamental factor..COMMAND! Salam.

i see and raise you...2012 Sapura Industrial Berhad Executive Seminar..

  • The annual Executive Seminar was again held this year at the Marriot International Hotel Putrajaya on 23rd Feb where  about 120 of the company's executives attended this years think tank session  themed Corporate Competitiveness by the CEO of Sapura Industrial Berhad,Encik Razali Osman.Probably addressing the most important segment of the 600 plus odd workers here, i stress at last my write, it ll take a genius to please this all walks of life with multitude of school of thoughts, easily handled and displayed  by last Managing Director ,Encik Md Shah Hussin, its my call and you just obey..okay..?!...with that arrogant  police state  attitude..went about 5 companies worth hundreds of millions in his tenure, some laughable of excuses  as  at one glance by   the best auditor ever walked here remarked..jual besi burok jer laa broo, when asked of his early analysis.......the message sent back  by us was ..u are not alone..ok....or more appropriately, one of  only two things constantly n repeatedly taught  at Persada Universtity...u can do it but u cant do it alone..okay? jose!...hehe
  • With that ..and still figuring out how best to tackle  his charges that day and encrypt mentally of  thoughts that flowed,in it, trying to make strong statements from it  and of  da ending sentence"..just    dont ride destiny .. lets make them!...assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh..i open this years Seminar"...vintage bells rang that then  showed a good bull fight for 15 rounds...
  • After the doa Kifara  by Haji Othman ,the show was on its way. First up was traditional rookies intro..if new recruitments were any telling signs of a depressed state,SIB certainly showed none of that as about 12 new faces were called up...some short n sharp as we like ..others trying to prove their worths of  u picked the right guy by blabbering business stories we should know and even had the CEO quipped they were too new to have a go at his  job or maybe mine..haha...
  • The much awaited key note address was lively, to say the least, this was due to the new CEOs style of .".ive been where you guys are"..kind of connection and we were "cool" with that. He started off with regional statistics, stressing Indonesia's eco cars are the cash cows  of tomorrow, citing Nissan,Daihatsu and Toyota have already made  big plans to produce up to  1.5 million vehicles there by next year  where as Malaysia will only target 1.35 million vehicles by 2020.At a glance, CEO says this year will be tough due to world downturn sparked by Euro and US crisis, the 4% growth rate  however is still achievable  if our economy stays as is,but bigger concern if we cant find any solutions to cost of aluminium  casting parts when ours are as high as RM32/kilo to Indonesia's RM17/kilo,and happy to report to board  im already practicing to shout keropok keropok lekor lekor of  good high tunedvoice in da mornings, after my ayam kampong berkokok of course....haha...Proton meanwhile are slashing8-15% across the board, and of 30 years in the business, one should think we can already be independent financially and should be able to take anything anyone  can throw at us,as of Aug 2008,at audit positioned,we were far from there, bankings still  where its at..hehe.But please, I mean, dont get me wrong, dat is considered pre historic days in modern times ..of my 4 years absent from mainstay, hell,SIB accounts could have made miracles rite..?..hehe..
  • Back to CEO's speech,he said we needed to look at that price discrepancy seriously,of more worrying tidal wave, trade liberalization in 2016.not to mention Khazanah disposal of Proton back to original owner,DRB.While Khazanahs objectives were of mainly national interests,DRB only worries about its red and black, and with strong subsidiaries already locked in as Protons First Tier Vendors coupled with Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleels partnership with Tony Chan back in the fold,i mean, its time to look at the ocean guys!big time!haha...at worst vss while holidaying lorr...
  • But as drowsiness loomed in,CEO made a challenge to the room,he said its time we stop  following trends and perpetually close  in on  differences or  margins,we stop becoming followers and thus lets set standards, supersede Protons forcasts this year and not be conservative about them and if we cant get it there,we will get it elsewhere..in short ...he says, the best god damn defense is an ultra smooth strong offense...game on!..sure we had breaks in Honda,Toytota and Nissan budd, but its so small, youve always been laughing about it so i really suggest we should drink and smell the coffee ..no..??..hehe...my rationale to make good quick good bucks in a year, jump start Encek Kelanas Non  Auto and work side by side with  Big Bro...or Bros now..see?!Or dont question my methods i get you Pekans Automotive Plants, everything there i guarantee you, with the unorthodox help of  my royal friends there, but seeing im  dead even before i leave the office, you figure it out laa..haha....and if thats how love goes around here,im staying put!...y not, few sessis here and there, moonlighting now and then, artwork or two, copywrite for thee,i might even get to start a rejuvenated rehabilitation career  centre on govt land maybe based on the same b.s as dato yunus pati's 5 acre land in kenny hill..wow!..drug free or not..whose to say,,bukan tahap dewa dewa mahh!! ... important thing medicals taken care of,retirement funds  minutely building and brains working..capische.My opportunities opened its windows for you,and to open them again, lets find the door.
  • In a nut shell,CEO pushed for self discipline, high maintenance quality culture,KPI driven like professional sportsman, rebuild the fundamentals,5s,communication on free flow mode, system enforcement, dont adhere to future figures, better them!
  • The other generals gave their version of achievability and i might be breaking trade secrets if i reveal them here,so just to cite 2 things here, while its really 5w's not  5 y's Mr CEO,of when, what ,who and why ,where maybe even WHOSE,if u like ..Mr Mawi was poking the world laugh their ass off if they knew SAPURA was dong these automotive  parts, why dont you and GBD suggest we need a proper brochure to show clients  in the first place,or is it only people like you that  laugh back at the paymasters if that being the case,if you have no trust in the flag u fly, find another flag!! budd!
  • p/s..of ppm and things, its not even close to  da "brutus" in u,only to quote Presidents advice..tak tahu..tanyer Bodoh!..and bet you didnt know SnP companies only spend 5 minutes in their potential vendors office to look 3 things: their anp materials, postings on the wall and their toilets! Salam.

Khutbah Terakhir

Khutbah Terakhir....
Date delivered: 632 A.C., 9th day of Dhul al Hijjah, 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat.

After praising, and thanking God, he said: "O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital , however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.

Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.

O Men, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are twelve in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste...

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, NO PROPHET OR MESSENGER WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the QUR'AN*) and my SUNNAH (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

always at malaysias frontier...Sapura Proride autoparts !!

The Automotive RE (Replacement Parts)Industry at the moment is facing its utmost uncertainty in terms of pricing, market acceptances, other key branding issues, marketing approach ,ie distribution networks due to the full execution of AFTA act in 2015.However, with the market size of at least 9,000,000 vehicles in Malaysia,IASB believes that a reasonable percentage will be attainable by us if the right product positioning and approach are used .Critical areas here would be:
1) Updated information on market trends at local and foreign end. 2) Risks management fully understood of its cost benefit analysis. 3) A&P, Market Research and analysis to be main tools in executing market penetration. 4) Improve QCD and Product Differentiation. 5) Deploy Direct Marketing Approach to Market.

Some market stats for last year:
Perodua sales @ 142,000-30%
Proton Sales-137 k -14%
Nissan-5.5%

Sapura Industrial turned in modest numbers for 2011..

Years performances was analysed and officiated.Sapura Industrial Berhad had turned in their numbers for last year for what the President of Sapura Group of Companies ,Yang Bhg Dato Seri Shahril Shamsuddin, termed it to be the  most competitive and challenging year in the automotive Industry.
SIB had sales recorded at RM285 million for the year whilst gross profit was recorded at RM59 million and profit Before Tax of RM30 Million.
Individually , these were recoded.Sapura Machining turned in RM 124 M of Net Profit of RM12 M,Sapura Brakes wrote RM127 M of Profits to RM22 M ,Asian Automotives Steel finished off RM30 M of RM 1.2 M  2 other efforts were Sapura Automotives downed RM 2 M and yours truly,Intl Autoparts came short of RM600,000.
In tilting this years numbers, growth projected at 5% was reasonable, seeing Protons new direction in becoming more of a car manufacturer than assembler as announced by the new Chairman,Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleel recently. The game however intensifies with DRB owning the car company once again.
