i see and raise you...2012 Sapura Industrial Berhad Executive Seminar..

  • The annual Executive Seminar was again held this year at the Marriot International Hotel Putrajaya on 23rd Feb where  about 120 of the company's executives attended this years think tank session  themed Corporate Competitiveness by the CEO of Sapura Industrial Berhad,Encik Razali Osman.Probably addressing the most important segment of the 600 plus odd workers here, i stress at last my write, it ll take a genius to please this all walks of life with multitude of school of thoughts,easily handled and displayed  by last Managing Director ,Encik Md Shah Hussin,its my call and you just obey..okay..?!...with that arrogant  police state  attitude..went about 5 companies worth hundreds of millions in his tenure,some laughable of excuses  as  at one glance by   the best auditor ever walked here remarked..jual besi burok jer laa broo,when asked of his early analysis.......the message sent back  by us was ..u are not alone..ok....or more appropriately,one of  only two things constantly n repeatedly taught  at Persada Universtity...u can do it but u cant do it alone..okay? jose!...hehe
  • With that ..and still figuring out how best to tackle  his charges that day and encrypt mentally of  thoughts that flowed,in it, trying to make strong statements from it  and of  da ending sentence"..just    dont ride destiny .. lets make them!...assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh..i open this years Seminar"...vintage bells rang that then  showed a good bull fight for 15 rounds...
  • After the doa Kifara  by Haji Othman ,the show was on its way. First up was traditional rookies intro..if new recruitments were any telling signs of a depressed state,SIB certainly showed none of that as about 12 new faces were called up...some short n sharp as we like ..others trying to prove their worths of  u picked the right guy by blabbering business stories we should know and even had the CEO quipped they were too new to have a go at his  job or maybe mine..haha...
  • The much awaited key note address was lively, to say the least,this was due to the new CEOs style of .".ive been where you guys are"..kind of connection and we were "cool" with that.He started off with regional statistics,stressing Indonesia's eco cars are the cash cows  of tomorrow,citing Nissan,Daihatsu and Toyota have already made  big plans to produce up to  1.5 million vehicles there by next year  where as Malaysia will only target 1.35 million vehicles by 2020.At a glance, CEO says this year will be tough due to world downturn sparked by Euro and US crisis,the 4% growth rate  however is still achievable  if our economy stays as is,but bigger concern if we cant find any solutions to cost of aluminium  casting parts when ours are as high as RM32/kilo to Indonesia's RM17/kilo,and happy to report to board  im already practicing to shout keropok keropok lekor lekor of  good high tunedvoice in da mornings,after my ayam kampong berkokok of course....haha...Proton meanwhile are slashing8-15% across the board,and of 30 years in the business, one should think we can already be independent financially and should be able to take anything anyone  can throw at us,as of Aug 2008,at audit positioned,we were far from there,bankings still  where its at..hehe.But please, I mean,dont get me wrong,dat is considered pre historic days in modern times ..of my 4 years absent from mainstay,hell,SIB accounts could have made miracles rite..?..hehe..
  • Back to CEO's speech,he said we needed to look at that price discrepancy seriously,of more worrying tidal wave,trade liberalization in 2016.not to mention Khazanah disposal of Proton back to original owner,DRB.While Khazanahs objectives were of mainly national interests,DRB only worries about its red and black, and with strong subsidiaries already locked in as Protons First Tier Vendors coupled with Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleels partnership with Tony Chan back in the fold,i mean,its time to look at the ocean guys!big time!haha...at worst vss while holidaying lorr...
  • But as drowsiness loomed in,CEO made a challenge to the room,he said its time we stop  following trends and perpetually close  in on  differences or  margins,we stop becoming followers and thus lets set standards,supersede Protons forcasts this year and not be conservative about them and if we cant get it there,we will get it elsewhere..in short ...he says,the best god damn defense is an ultra smooth strong offense...game on!..sure we had breaks in Honda,Toytota and Nissan budd, but its so small,youve always been laughing about it so i really suggest we should drink and smell the coffee ..no..??..hehe...my rationale to make good quick good bucks in a year,jump start Encek Kelanas Non  Auto and work side by side with  Big Bro...or Bros now..see?!Or dont question my methods i get you Pekans Automotive Plants,everything there i guarantee you, with the unorthodox help of  my royal friends there,but seeing im  dead even before i leave the office, you figure it out laa..haha....and if thats how love goes around here,im staying put!...y not, few sessis here and there, moonlighting now and then,artwork or two,copywrite for thee,i might even get to start a rejuvenated rehabilitation career  centre on govt land maybe based on the same b.s as dato yunus pati's 5 acre land in kenny hill..wow!..drug free or not..whose to say,,bukan tahap dewa dewa mahh!! ... important thing medicals taken care of,retirement funds  minutely building and brains working..capische.My opportunities opened its windows for you,and to open them again,lets find the door.
  • In a nut shell,CEO pushed for self discipline,high maintenance quality culture,KPI driven like professional sportsman,rebuild the fundamentals,5s,communication on free flow mode,system enforcement,dont adhere to future figures,better them!
  • The other generals gave their version of achievability and i might be breaking trade secrets if i reveal them here,so just to cite 2 things here,while its really 5w's not  5 y's Mr CEO,of when, what ,who and why ,where maybe even WHOSE,if u like ..Mr Mawi was poking the world laugh their ass off if they knew SAPURA was dong these automotive  parts, why dont you and GBD suggest we need a proper brochure to show clients  in the first place,or is it only people like you that  laugh back at the paymasters if that being the case,if you have no trust in the flag u fly,find another flag!! budd!
  • p/s..of ppm and things,its not even close to  da "brutus" in u,only to quote Presidents advice..tak tahu..tanyer Bodoh!..and bet you didnt know SnP companies only spend 5 minutes in their potential vendors office to look 3 things: their anp materials,postings on the wall and their toilets! Salam.
