Sapura Industrial turned in modest numbers for 2011..

Years performances was analysed and officiated.Sapura Industrial Berhad had turned in their numbers for last year for what the President of Sapura Group of Companies ,Yang Bhg Dato Seri Shahril Shamsuddin,termed it to be the  most competitive and challenging year in the automotive Industry.
SIB had sales recorded at RM285 million for the year whilst gross profit was recorded at RM59 million and profit Before Tax of RM30 Million.
Individually , these were recoded.Sapura Machining turned in RM 124 M of Net Profit of RM12 M,Sapura Brakes wrote RM127 M of Profits to RM22 M ,Asian Automotives Steel finished off RM30 M of RM 1.2 M  2 other efforts were Sapura Automotives downed RM 2 M and yours truly,Intl Autoparts came short of RM600,000.
In tilting this years numbers,growth projected at 5% was reasonable,seeing Protons new direction in becoming more of a car manufacturer than assembler as announced by the new Chairman,Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleel recently.The game however intensifies with DRB owning the car company once again.
