From official records, i was born at General Hospital Kuala Lumpur on 23rd June 1964 and the only memory i recall then was running around at Taman Jaya PJ near our house in Section 5 there then.My next best recollection after that was waking up at a "Tampin" hospital it seemed, after a bad accident that saw my mum,mak jah,two other aunties,badly injured on the legs and hips after our Mercedes 280 driven by a government driver crashed into a ravine somewhere along Tampin,supposedly to meet my dad in JB as he flew there that same day.At that accident , i was sitting on my mums lap in the front seat and that thew impact flung me through the windscreen,on life support for 5 days,doctors gave me 50-50 chances of living.My first words, as i regained consciousness was Mana Reen..as i was very attached to my sister at that time.Mum told me she was fine and at home and as story had it,sitting at the back with mu aunts, she was also tossed about the car and had everyones blood on her and as the Medics got to us , she looked the most serious as she was blood soaked, but being only 3, god always look out for them,treated for shock an sent home as out patient.Back at our Section 16 home, after that i recalled my mum shouting and crying in asking my dad to hurry up as news of my great grand dad "atok James Bond" had died of accident when crossing the road to Masjid Negara for solat Jumaat.Apparently that was a week after my release from GH,his prayers to god,ya allah...ambil lah nyawa aku dari nyawa cicit ku...god agreed.This guy was amazing,as i remember him,i was playing football and riding on his back as a cowboy at the age 86, and no complains at all from the old man..hence i called him atok james bond.
Before this accident happened, i knew i went to a kindergatten called Tiny Tots in PJ near my Section 5 house ...and when my sister went there,all the teachers freaked out like heyy..watch for her too..shes Yazlis sister..sure dependent on the mother too..not knowing at that time , my sis was Wonder Woman on her own . ..more hyper than me ..in three fold..haha..
Then..the only thing i remembered about May 13 was army lorry load of my relatives were sent to my home in Section 16,we were kept there for a long time i think ,then my brother born 5 days later, with a cast on his legs,never felt threatened, i was proud of the bigger family we were having.
Then i remembered my parents taking me for a world tour.I recalled we started west wards ..India,China,Egypt,Europe,London,USA,Hong Kong then home.In London , i remembered my mum recieved a call that her dad passed away and in tears they discussed whether we should return home, dad dis agreed,we wouldnt be able to make the funeral anyway,so as we decided to continue with the journey,the vengeance of my uncles after that unfolded til now.Meanwhile, i remembered that was the start of my attraction for females..those Italian girls playing in my mind over and over again and in London, my dad's friend,Malaysian Commissioner ,Uncle Fatahs daughters were yummy playmates in Hyde Park..haha.....In Las Vegas, i was overawed with em Showgirls,and before our return from Hong Kong, I contracted measles..very badly...close not being able to fly back,mum wrapped me up in jacket,scarve,black glasses..like a real pervert on holiday..hehe..
Then school began..Grounds at Sekolah Rendah Alam Shah 1 were all too familiar as mum was already teaching there for quite some time.For the first month,going to mums class rooms for recess and having my laces tied were okay, then after badgering from classmates especially Razak and Rajendran,i demanded mum i had my own pocket money,walking away with 40 cents a day was sheer joy..haha..On studies front, top 3 in class was a must for me till standard 3,dad looked prouder of all as he gave the prizes away at year end, the late Hamdi was the fiercest competitor i had as shared no 1 with him all 3 years at third terms exams.
