A magazine scan of a yet-to-be-release publication has given us the first glimpse into Lamborghini’s surprise 50th anniversary model that is set to be revealed at tomorrow’s Geneva Motor Show.
Called the Veneno, Spanish for “Poison”, the Geneva show car is based on the Lamborghini Aventador’s carbon-fibre chassis as well as its 6.5-litre V12 powerplant.
According to online sources the powerplant has been massaged to produce740bhp and will wow the world with its top speed of 354km/h.
Further speculation claims that Lamborghini will produce three examples, each priced at £3.1 million, and painted in a red, white, and green colour scheme, reflecting the Tricolore colours of the Italian flag.
We will only know for sure tomorrow when the Geneva Motor Show kicks off.
